Field Day 

A morning of races, jumping and hopefully warm weather. Students will travel to different field events and participate in running long jump, standing long jump, dashes, ball throw and more. Students will try to achieve their personal best along with set standards that are in place for each age category. Students will be placed on teams according to their age bracket and set standards will be marked according to their category. There are also several play events that encourage team spirit and working together.

This year (2023) our Unity Field Day will take place on Wednesday May 31 with a rain date for Friday June 2.

The main events will take place in the morning. Following lunch students will be placed into crews consisting of students from JK to Grade 3. Led by a teacher, students will participate in obstacle courses, tug of war and many team activities to finish off the day with some fun. 

Please remember to send your child with extra snacks, a water bottle, hat and wearing sunscreen.
