- Founded in 1952.
- YEARLY PROGRAM - The elementary school year is from September to June; international students follow the same plan of studies established by the provincial Ministry of Education, integrating into their schools in the same way that Canadian students do.
- Calvin Christian School has 16 full-time and 8 part time teaching staff, all of whom are fully certified and Christian.
- The average pupil/teacher ratio (PTR) is 23:1.
- CCS has a student body of 450 and a complete JK-8 program. The faculty follows a defined evaluation program to monitor the academic and social progress of each student.

In 2012, Grades 3 - 8 participated in the Canadian Tests of Basic Skills (CTBS) with outstanding results.

Other significant awards given are Kiwanis Festival, Ancaster Fair, Healthy Living, Science Fair, Academic Achievement, Academic Excellence, Fine Arts, Gauss Math, Optimist Club Speech, Renaissance, Servant, Participation, Writer's, and Athletic awards.
Programs of Study
Calvin Christian School offers a complete range of academic programs for all eight grades. The curriculum follows the outline developed by the OACS. This design follows the official Ministry of Education curriculum in content requirements.
