A Visit to City Hall
On Wednesday, November 14 the grade two classes went on a trip to city hall as part of their unit about our local community. They made a card with a personal message for each city councillor which they dropped off on their visit. Two students have shared their thoughts on the trip.
"We went to city hall a few days ago and we went in the council chambers and sat in the chairs. At city hall we also learned about the blue and gold bins." ~by Asher
"We went to city hall. We learned that you have to shovel 24 hours after snow fall and that the mayor wore a golden chain on special occasions. ~by Megan
