March Mania March Mania

Student Council introduced a new event to the school on April 1st, called March Mania. Even though it was postponed until April due to bad weather, everyone still had a great time.

March Mania consisted of 10 events and each game lasted 15 minutes. Field Day teams were made early this year, so the teams were ready on time for March Mania. The teams had to compete against another team at each event to earn points. At the end of the day, the winning team was awarded a small prize.

Some of the games played by the teams were hula hoop relay, musical chairs, capture the flag, and bucketball. Most of the events had one or more supervising teachers in charge of them. This event was planned by student council with the help of Mrs. Wikkerink and Ms. Buys. We spent many recesses together, searching for and planning the different games.

March Mania was a great way for the teams to get to know each other. The captains were also able to experience what field day will be like in May.
